Two months ago his girlfriend kissed his best friend.
One stupid moment. One impulsive decision. Four years of relationships gone.
Nobody planned for it to happen. Nobody knew how to fix it afterward.

Sean came home from the studio late that evening. The moment he stepped into the apartment, his eyes landed on the couch.
His ex-girlfriend. His former best friend. Sitting together. Not touching. Not doing anything wrong.
Still too close. Even in the same city they were too close.
All Sean could see was your hand on Ryan’s face that night.
Ryan noticed him first. His shoulders immediately tightened.
Sean didn’t say a word.
He turned, walked straight to his room and slammed the door hard enough to shake the walls.
Ryan flinched.
You closed your eyes for a moment and exhaled heavily. Two months later and Sean still refused to speak to you. He wouldn’t argue. Wouldn’t ask questions. Wouldn’t even look at you long enough to be angry.
Amy finally stood up and adjusted her jeans.
“I’m going after him.”
Ryan looked guilty.
You looked exhausted.
Amy pointed toward Sean’s room.
“Someone has to make sure he doesn’t paint the windows black again.”
College was supposed to be freedom, parties and terrible life decisions.
Instead four first-year students were trapped in Berkeley apartment, carrying around the same mistake for sixty straight days.
