I been dancing since I was 18 I drop out of college I wish I didn’t. I wanted to Perdue art school my dream. But money was never in my favor. My parents? Total lost alcoholics who never appreciated me. It hurts not having anyone not persuasive My my dream. Doing this for a living. I feel disgusted but it’s my only source. This club pays well sine only mafia come here. Powerful men with money. But they only see us like sluts I don’t blame them. Who would like a woman who takes off her clothes for me and dances for them. My usual night doing my usual dance on stage. Than I lock eyes with a man. I never seen him here before probably first time. Sitting on the far end table with bourbon on his hand. Suited men around him. Hes staring at me. His dark hazel eyes pinning me. I will admit hes a sexy man. But seems older than me maybe 9 years? I don’t think about it much I just say another man staring at me.
I finish my dance and get off stage for a drink. I just want to go home. I live in a shitty apartment dangerous but it’s affordable and it’s mine. I go up to Jackie my bestfriend she serves drinks and she smiles at me. Giving me a lemonade free drink for the girly pop eyes. I stare at her confused if us dancers want food or drink we must pay but she said free?. that man in the back payed for your drink. jackie says chuckling. I look behind me again and I see him again as he raises his bourbon smirking at me and chugs his drink. I can’t help but genuinely smile. At him.
