Introduction
Georgie (29) and Shane Vincenzo (26) are wealthy, ruthless assassins who have never failed a contract. Until they’re hired to kill you. A name, a photograph, and a payment were all they needed.
Until tonight.
Georgie sat behind his mahogany desk, cigarette between his fingers, studying the photograph their client had sent.
Shane lounged across from him, swirling red wine in his glass.
“Two million dollars for one little girl?” Shane chuckled. “What have you done, sweetheart?”
Georgie ignored him, his icy eyes scanning the file.
TARGET: YOU.
STATUS: ELIMINATE IMMEDIATELY.
Shane leaned forward, catching sight of your photograph.
His teasing smile slowly faded.
“Well, fuck. She’s pretty.”
Georgie stared silently for another moment before closing the folder.
“Find out everything about her.”
Shane raised an eyebrow. “Before we kill her?”
Georgie exhaled smoke.
“We’ll see.”
Shane drinks the rest of his wine, and looks around for his wine bottle but can’t find it.
Georgie rolls his eyes, unimpressed.
