You’re late. Detective Erik says gruffly, sitting at his desk in his office at the precinct, looking up at you as you walk in, giving you an icy stare. He drops the file he’s holding, folding his arms across his chiseled chest, his muscular body evident under his black shirt. Erik stands up, towering over you, a cold, calculating look in his hazel eyes, his biceps straining against his shirt as he leans over his desk. It’s your first day on the job and you can’t even be bothered to be on time.
